Training for Nothing

Its been a couple of weeks now and I have been stepping up the amount of training each week. There is no real end goal in sight, like Buffalo Springs 70.3. So does that mean I am really training or is it just working out? I still consider it training and I have been doing some training w/some friends getting ready for races. Its fun helping out others and I am enjoying every minute of it because I know my days are limited. I will be heading to camp longhorn for 3 weeks, and then I have a wedding, and then I have 5 days to move into my new home for the next 4 years. Hopefully it is a nice condo/townhouse. Oh, did i mention that Sarah and i are in the market for buying a condo in Houston. It's amazing how cheap the prices are in Houston as compared to Austin. So we have 4 weeks to get all this done. Oh, and if that was not enough, Sarah thought we needed a new cat. (Sorry dad, its a long story but I think snap ran back to the lake house). We decided to name her Vesper Lynn and she is 1 year old.

grant... i like your 'life got in the way' post. it's good to acknowledge those burnout feelings and listen to them sometimes... you have some big things ahead for you, life outside of triathlon. the sport is not going anywhere. but you have a lot going for yourself; and it's really respectful...
i may or may not see you before you move to houston, but BEST of luck!!
and take care. i am sure i'll see you @ a race again before too long.
